Health benefit of blueberry

Blueberry is also considered as one of the super food, they are low in calories. The Blueberry are found in blue to purple color. Initially blueberry found as green in color but becomes blue purple when it gets ripen.

Two type of blueberry are found – Highbush blueberry , Lowbush blueberry

1 cup of Blueberry consists , 85% of water, 84 calories, 15 grams of carbohydrates. Blueberry powerful antioxidant called anthocyanins which is responsible for blue color. Rich in  potassium, zinc, copper, vitamins A, B complex, C, and E, manganese, iron,antioxidants-gallic acid is a powerful anti-fungal.Blueberry decreases the risk of obesity diabetes heart diseases, age related problems ,promote complexion and hair, immune system, boost energy.
