Combination of almond with apple and banana as a dessert is a excellent recipe .Eating almond 7 days a week will help in weight reduction. Almond is a very  good agent in lowering blood sugar and maintain insulin after meal.Now a days heart attack becoming very common, we can reduce the risk of heart attack by eating almond in our normal food diet.Keeping this in mind i tried Apple-Almond dessert for this week.Almond is also considered as grain based – low fat snacks  that help you to lose weight.

Ingredients:(For 1 cup of dessert)

1. grind the mixture below and make it as paste.

2. add vanilla powder and grind once again to mix properly.

3. Add palm sugar to taste. Its optional you can use normal sugar instead of palm sugar. store it in refrigerator for 10 min . Almond-apple dessert is ready to serve. If you want serve it with dry grapes and nuts .

I tried this Apple – Almond dessert recipe from one of my friend’s house in Coimbatore, it taste awesome . Chilled Apple-Almond dessert will always increase the taste of the recipe.I have used palm sugar instead of white sugar because palm sugar has good health benefits.
