I tried this Elaneer Payasam dish many times in my home, it came good without any struggle.After a heavy meal this tender coconut Payasam would cool our stomach.Elaneer tender coconut payasam shall be made using simple ingredients like coconut water,coconut flesh,condensed milk,coconut milk and also it takes few minutes to prepare .yes of course its a healthy recipe for kids.

This elaneer tender coconut payasam provide lot of calories and give you a good digestion after a hard meal.Having this payasam after meal , will remove our stomach disorder and keep you feel light.

How to Prepare Elaneer Tender Coconut Payasam

 Ingredients:

  • Tender Coconut Water – 1.5 cups
  • Tender Coconut Flesh – 1 cup
  • Condensed Milk –  3 tbsp
  • Coconut Milk – 1 cup
  • Saffron – few strands

Step 1: grind the coconut and take coconut milk.for best result use home made coconut milk.Do not add water while making coconut milk extract , because milk need to be thick.

Add less condensed milk since it has lot of calories.
Add only soft tender coconut pulp or flesh –  do not use if it is too hard because if it is hard,you will not get creamy texture .
Do not add water for making this coconut payasam .
Do not add too much of coconut water.

Here is my treat for wine lovers.The final photo ( above photo )attached is taken on the 6th day,but please store it for 21 days to get a good result for a pure home made wine.

I just love this homemade grapes wine taste,this is my favorite one.Long time back my friends asked me to give a correct proportion of ingredient for making grape wine.Stir the prepared wine each day and please store it in a wooden spatula or glass bottle .Use 1/2 of the container with wine rest with air ,because yeast will release gas,so some space is necessary in the glass / wooden spatula bottle while storing for 21 days.

1.Soak yeast in water for 10 min and make it as a paste. Clean grapes and make all the grapes to soak in water for 30 min .

My mom used to prepare this banana sweet during Christmas ( Christmas recipe ) ( Banana recipe ).Most of the thoothukudi members might know about this sweet consistency and its awesome taste.This Banana Sweet is a thoothukudi’s rare-old-famous Christmas sweet.I loved to eat this sweet because this sweet will melt in our mouth. Since this is my mom’s favorite  recipe,she suggested me to put this recipe.

If you add wheat flour it will become too hard to eat. adding Less wheat flour is optional and also it will reduce its hardness.Being patient is more important while preparing this sweet. it will take 30 minutes to prepare.Below measurement is much more important for preparing this sweet.

This sweet will not be hard to eat it will be like soft and halwa consistency ,you shall add less wheat flour for little hardness.

 Ingredients:

  • banana – 12
  • sugar -120gm
  • ghee -120gm
  • cashew nuts -12

100 banana for 1 kg  sugar (50 banana for 500gm sugar)(25 banana for 250gm sugar)(10 banana for 100 gm sugar)

As we all know athirasam is a common sweet during Diwali,But need to prepare the flour two days before making athirasam.I thought of doing instant athirasam for my guest.

I tried  with apple to make athirasam recipe , it came very good with wonderful taste and crispiness exactly equal to athirasam.we have to serve it hot and do not refrigerate ,finish eating on the same day because apple would loose its stiffness and crispiness.This apple athirasam will take only 10 min for preparing ,I mean not more than 10 min. Apple athirasam is a good evening sweet like  snacks.

How to prepare Apple Athirasam

Ingredients:(For 3 piece of Athirasam):

  • apple -3 pieces
  • banana-1/2
  • rice flour – 4 tbsp
  • palm sugar -2 tbsp
  • vanilla powder-1/4 tbsp
  • milk – 1/4 cup
  • corn flour -1/4 tbsp
  • oil-4 tbsp

Step 1:Take a cup of  roasted rice and grind to prepare rice flour.Add Palm sugar to it .

Note:
Use dosa tawa and fry the apple to avoid over oil.
Do not have much time in heat, because apple will loose its sweetness.
Take rice flour as semi fine powder. not too fine powder.
It is must to soak apple in the palm sugar and rice flour mixture for 30 min.
This taste will be equal to normal athiramsam made with rice flour and palm sugar.
Cornflour shall be used for crispiness or can be avoided.Instead of Cornflour you can use baking soda for crispiness.

  • apple -1/2
  • banana-1/2
  • Almond-7
  • vanilla powder-1tbsp
  • palm sugar -3 tbsp(you can use white sugar instead)
