Best time to eat Fruits are morning in empty stomach / eating fruits 2 hours after meals / Eating Fruits 1 hour before meals. Fruits contains natural sugars, fructose, carbohydrate these digests and leaves the stomach in about twenty to thirty minutes. I saw some persons eating fruit juices immediately after meals in a hotel, and then I taught of sharing this article.

We know that fruits are packed with lot of nutritious vitamins and minerals, So most of us consider fruit juices as the best energy drink. There are some rules in eating fruits particularly the eating time of fruits.

Eating fruits on empty stomach will help in reducing weight and supply a great source of energy to our system.

Ok let me come to the point, Food we are eating moves to stomach and then to intestine for absorption. Stomach is a storage of acid that helps in digesting our foods.

For example when we eat fruits immediately after non-vegetarian/heavy meals ,some might get stomach upset because – heavy meals takes long time to digest in the stomach ,mean while when fruits sugar come to contact with these meals in the stomach makes the meal ferment, rot.

When this fermented food reaches the intestine will leads to stomach upset, over all risk your digestive system.So please avoid eating fruits immediate after meals especially after non-vegetarian meals. Best way is eating meals one hour before fruits, because fruits get digested very soon.

Best time to Eat Fruits – Early morning in the empty stomach.
Good time to eat fruits – one hour before Lunch,Dinner,Breakfast.
Wrong time to eat fruits – Immediately before bed or eating fruits after meal

Oranges, grapefruit,lemon,lime- 30 min digestion time..
Apples, pears, peaches, cherries – 40 min digestion time.
