As we all know athirasam is a common sweet during Diwali,But need to prepare the flour two days before making athirasam.I thought of doing instant athirasam for my guest.

I tried  with apple to make athirasam recipe , it came very good with wonderful taste and crispiness exactly equal to athirasam.we have to serve it hot and do not refrigerate ,finish eating on the same day because apple would loose its stiffness and crispiness.This apple athirasam will take only 10 min for preparing ,I mean not more than 10 min. Apple athirasam is a good evening sweet like  snacks.

How to prepare Apple Athirasam

Ingredients:(For 3 piece of Athirasam):

Step 1:Take a cup of  roasted rice and grind to prepare rice flour.Add Palm sugar to it .

Step 2: Add warm milk to the content . Add vanilla powder and smashed banana pieces to the content. mix properly until all the content mix well.

Step 3: Add cornflour powder and mix properly.soak small sized chopped apple pieces to the content for 5 min.

Step 4: Fry the apple until it become slight brown .

Step 5: Do not fry over then 2 min.Thats it  Apple athirasam is ready to serve .(Serve it hot and do not refrigerate)

Note:
Use dosa tawa and fry the apple to avoid over oil.
Do not have much time in heat, because apple will loose its sweetness.
Take rice flour as semi fine powder. not too fine powder.
It is must to soak apple in the palm sugar and rice flour mixture for 30 min.
This taste will be equal to normal athiramsam made with rice flour and palm sugar.
Cornflour shall be used for crispiness or can be avoided.Instead of Cornflour you can use baking soda for crispiness.
