Pandanus fruit is a genus of monocots, They are palm-like, dioecious trees and shrubs native to the Old World tropics and subtropics.
Pandanaceae is a family of flowering plants.
Pandanus tectorius grows natively from the Philippines through the Pacific Ocean to Hawaii and South to Southeast Asia.

Appearance Of Pandanus fruit 
Pandanus Fruit is an aggregate fruit, globose, sub globose, ellipsoid to ovoid, resembles pineapple, large, 10–30 cm long and 8–20 cm across, comprising of tightly crowded, wedge-shaped fleshy drupes or phalanges.
Fruit has many segments which are called cones or keys.
There are 1–15 carpels per phalange, and these are arranged either radially or in parallel rows. The central apical sinuses range from 1 to 28 mm deep.
When ripe, the color of the basal section of the phalanges varies from pale yellow to dark yellow, orange, and orange/red.
