APPEARANCE OF AFRICAN BAOBAB FRUIT
African baobab fruits are quite variable in shape, from nearly round to cylindrical.
The Outer African baobab woody shell is 6–10 millimeters (1⁄4–3⁄8 in) thick, covered with yellowish brown hairs that give it a velvety appearance.
The African baobab seeds are hard and kidney-shaped with a .06-mm thick coat.
