Native Of Aronia berries
Aronia is a genus of deciduous shrubs, the chokeberries, in the family Rosaceae native to eastern North America are now grown in Eastern Europe.
The genus Aronia is considered to have 3 species:
i. Aronia melanocarpa ( black chokeberry ) ( Photinia melanocarpa ),
ii. Aronia arbutifolia ( red chokeberry ) ( Photinia pyrifolia )
iii. Aronia prunifolia ( purple chokeberry ) ( Photinia floribunda )
iv. Aronia mitschurinii , is a Fourth species that originated in cultivation, is also known as Sorbaronia mitschurinii .

Aronia berry is a small, round fruit.
Aronia berries are black and red and can be eaten fresh on their own.
Aronia berries fruit is black, 6–9 mm wide, not persisting into winter.
