Madan fruit is a native of Thailand.Madan fruit is found growing wild there in low land and swampy areas of the evergreen forests in Central and South Thailand.

APPEARANCE OF MADAN FRUIT
• A small to medium evergreen tree 5-10 m tall.
• Leaves dark green, opposite, lanceolate, 9 cm long and 2.5 cm wide.
• Madan Fruits resembles ivy gourd, ovate to oblong, 5-7 cm long, and 2-3 cm wide, shiny green at maturity, it has white flesh and brown seeds, taste sour.
